The Caligula Effect 2 is a fascinating tactical role-playing game on Nintendo Switch, developed by NIS America. In this game, you will play brave female characters, fighting against enemies in dramatic battles to reclaim the village for the villagers.

Dramatic Aftermath of The Caligula Effect: Overdose

The Caligula Effect 2 is a sequel to Caligula Effect: Overdose, with a story and gameplay that have many similarities but develop deeper and more attractive. The game continues the story several years after the Mobius world events, introducing a new cast of characters and dramatic new situations.

New Plot with New Characters

In The Caligula Effect 2, players will meet and accompany the main character χ, µ’s daughter from the previous part. This time, χ leads a new group of characters against virtual idol Regret, who has pushed the younger generation into the dangerous world of Redo. The protagonist is aware of this situation and joins forces with χ to prevent history from repeating itself.

Explore and Investigate the World of Redo

The setting in the game is a mining village in Northern Quebec in 1970, which is engulfed by a strange fog – Brume. You’ll explore diverse areas such as subway stations, museums, and hospitals, each with its own mysteries and stories. The side quest system in the game exploits many modern social situations, from sexual harassment in schools to complicated relationships.

Deep Tactical Combat System

The Caligula Effect 2’s unique Imaginary Chain combat system allows players to visualize the fight in advance and plan accordingly. You can arrange characters to form a chain of attacks, causing great damage to enemies. A new χ-Jack system is also added, which increases combat stats and provides instant action, especially useful in dramatic boss battles.

Impressive Graphics and Music

The graphics in The Caligula Effect 2 are carefully cared for, with diverse character designs and rich environments. The music in the game also leaves many emotions, contributing to creating a vivid and deep role-playing experience.
